If your Mortise 2 is not locking, it may be due to the following.
Low battery or non-alkaline batteries used
The Mortise 2 comes with a 9V Jumpstart feature that allows you to power up the lock with a 9V Alkaline battery. You will have to hold the 9V battery contacts to the 9V Jumpstart studs at the front of the lock. There will be an audio indication when the lock is powered, and you may key in your PIN code to enter when you hold the 9V battery firmly on the studs.
Should you be unable to acquire a 9V battery, physical keys are provided with every igloohome lock to unlock your Mortise 2 mechanically.
It is recommended to keep at least one key on you at all times for such situations.
You may key in up to 16 digits, including your PIN code, followed by the ‘Unlock Icon’ to unlock. The decoy digits may be before the PIN.
For example, if your PIN code is 1234567, you may use the following to mask the actual PIN:
If you hear an alarm sounding twice, it is possible that the door has not been closed fully, and the Mortise is unable to lock properly.
Try again but if the warning sound continues, do contact our Support team and we will assist you.
A total of 56 RFID cards and stickers can be added to the Smart Mortise 2.
